Billy and Vickie See - Fuyang Teachers College 2003-05
testimonial (Jan 31,2012):
Vickie and I have very fond memories of Fuyang. We often wish we were still there. Teaching in Fuyang was one the greatest adventures of our lives. Now, we are grandparents and cannot leave our family to teach in Fuyang again. If anyone sincerely interested in teaching there asks, we would be happy to share stories about our experiences.
Billy and Vicky See are from Springfield, Kentucky, and earlier lived in Lebanon, Tennessee, where Vicky was an elementary school teacher. “I have worked in manufacturing for the last 31 years,” wrote Billy shortly before leaving for China. “My sons are grown and married. My faith has grown to a desire to follow Jesus by being in service to those in need”… At Springfield Presbyterian Church Billy taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. He was a Boy Scout leader for 15 years. Vickie was a Sunday school teacher, director of the vacation Bible school and a member of the Missions Committee.” The Church World Service selected them for the Amity Foundation’s programs in China.
"...Prior to mission service, Billy was employed as process engineer for Parker Hannifin of Springfield, Kentucky. Vickie taught at St. Dominic School in Springfield, Kentucky, from 2000 to 2002. She had taught elementary education in Wilson County Schools in Lebanon, Tennessee (1979 to 1997) and in Washington County Schools in Springfield, Kentucky (1997 to 2000).
Billy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in social science from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. Vickie has a Bachelor of Science in education from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee."

A teacher at the nearby Fuyang Vocational College, Kenny Bostian, came frequently to English corners at Fuyang Teachers College’s two campuses, so he’s an honorary member of our association. He's 47, from Arkansas (USA), and for many years ran a fishing and hunting store. While this is Kenny's first time to China, he's been interested in Asia for many years and has watched many Chinese, Korean and Japanese movies.
